- Its important because it's an increasingly vital concept in our interconnected digital world, it surrounds the norms of appropriate and responsible behavior when using technology, it includes everything from online ethics and safety to privacy.

Responsibilities of a digital citizen.
 - Cyberbullying: You are responsible for how you communicate with other users and you are responsible for protecting yourself against harmful friendships. 

-Digital law:  Knowing to protect yourself from internet scams and protect your identity from being stolen.

- Think before engaging
- Protect privacy
-Use strong unique passwords
-Be media literate
